Tuna Salad with Black Olives & Tomatoes

An Easy “Back to School” Recipe


  • 1 head of romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce
  • Optional: 1 small head of radicchio lettuce
  • 1 can of flaked tuna packed in water
  • 1 can of black olives
  • 2 tomatoes chop into 6 or 8 pieces or use cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup red onions chopped
  • Parsley & basil leaves chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons of Olive oil
  • Serves 3 to 4 people


Wash, chop your lettuce heads and place in bowl. Add the flaked tuna, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, chopped parsley and basil leaves. Place the dressing, salt and olive oil and toss together.  Presto! Dinner is served.
